PCV Bus Driver
Based at our Lower Dicker depot close to Hailsham, we are recruiting for additional fully qualified PCV driver’s to join team of friendly drivers, duties will mainly include weekday evenings or early mornings and also various shifts at weekends covering pre planned Rail Replacement work, additionally there will also be some opportunities to work on day shifts covering morning and afternoon school journeys as well as private hires to various local venues, current pay rates are,
Mon-Fri £15.50ph
Sat £16.50ph
Sun £17.50ph.
We also offer enhanced rates for emergency Rail Replacement work Monday to Sunday, £130 for up to the first 6 hours and thereafter £16.50ph-£18.50ph for each job.
Any duty covered regardless of duty time has a guarantied minimum payment of 6 hours, (even if you only work 2 or 3 hours), any duty longer than 6 hours is paid at the relevant hourly rate.
Applicants must hold a valid PCV licence category D and an up to date drivers CPC qualification.
Good local geographical knowledge preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
